The TeSóAria 2011 Chardonnay, handcrafted by artisan winemaker John Olson, succeeds where so many Chardonnays fail. Aged in neutral oak, this Southern Oregon Chardonnay aptly expresses the characteristics of its fruit. The creamy mouthfeel is perfectly balanced with the right amount of acidity. Hints of carmel, green apple and lemon greet your nose, followed by the slightest whiff of warm spice.

I'm not a chardonnay fan, but this is very good. Almost no oakiness, creamy (not buttery), nice light acidity.

Traditionally I like more buttery tasting Chardonnays but this one is good. More light and fruit forward.
