Made from the Sauv Blanc Musque clone, this 2010 Stepping Stone Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, is exceptionally well perfumed. And artisan winemaker Jeff Keene worked it. Using an extremely cool, gradual fermentation in stainless steel, Keen pulled fresh and invigorating aromatics. The Cuveé Musque is a virtual spring breeze of tropical fruit, apple and melon aromas with just a whiff of herbaceous notes. This Sauv Blanc features luscious, intense tropical flavors against a backdrop of compelling acidity. The palate is crisp, lively and mouthwateringly fresh, while the finish is clean, crisp and refreshingly mineral-laden. This wine is perfect for drinking while young and vivacious and will be at its best over the next one to two years.
