Bacio Divino is not generally a Pinot Noir producer. But the small artisan winery jumped on a chance to craft one of their favorite varietals when they were able to obtain fruit from the historic Bacigalupi Vineyard.
Handcrafted by artisan winemaker Kirk Venge, the Bacio Divino 2009 Lucie Pinot Noir is a rich, creamy Pinot with strawberries, sweet spices and dried Italian herbs on the nose. In the mouth, you'll get brown sugar, black cherry, strawberries, dried savory herbs and a smokiness. The finish is ridiculously long and loaded with cherries.

I could live on this wine. Maybe I will.
