Handcrafted by artisan winemaker Greg Graziano, the Albertina Wine Cellars 2008 "Red Splendor" Meritage is a striking, fruit-forward Bordeaux-style blend. With 53% Cabernet, this easy-drinking blend buddies well with food, especially beef, lamb and veal, or robust pasta dishes. But it's also plenty delightful on its own.

The meritage is crafted from sustainably farmed mountain-grown, estate grapes, which make for big, intense flavors. The wine leads with perfumed aromas of juicy, dark fruits, follows with a slight hint of pencil shavings, eucalyptus and black pepper, and finishes with black tea.

53% Cabernet Sauvignon, balanced by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Tastes like wine - drinkable, but not the first bottle you open.
